Food has always been at the heart of who we are. For us, cooking isn’t just about feeding people — it’s about creating connection, comfort, and joy through every bite. DripSandwiches was born from a shared love of bold flavors, quality ingredients, and the kind of sandwiches that make you stop mid-bite and say, “Wow.”
What started as a simple idea between Drew and Rhonda quickly became a full-fledged passion project. Inspired by the flavors of the places we’ve traveled, the meals we’ve shared with friends, and the local bounty of Sonoma County, we set out to craft sandwiches that are both familiar and unexpected — always made from scratch, always dripping with flavor.
Today, you’ll find us popping up at breweries, wineries, and community events across Santa Rosa, California. We’re proud to collaborate with local farms and producers to bring you the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Every sandwich, sauce, and pickle we make is a reflection of the care, creativity, and connection that drive us — because great food isn’t just eaten, it’s experienced.
Drip Sandwiches is the creation of chefs Drew and Rhonda Boczon. We met in 2009 while working as fine dining line cooks in New York City. Many bodega sandwiches fueled our days—a bacon, egg, and cheese before a shift on the way to the subway, and after a grueling night of service, nothing hit the spot like a hot sandwich. The countless pastrami institutions of New York City left a lasting impression on us, keeping us on the forever hunt for a great pastrami sandwich. When we decided we had endured enough East Coast winters and made the move to Northern California, the foundation for what would become Drip Sandwiches had been built.
Food has always been at the heart of who we are. Our exposure to the diverse food cultures of New York City, combined with our professional experience working in the demanding environment of Michelin-starred restaurants, along with our travels, has shaped our approach to cooking. A commitment to quality drives us every step of the way. To us, food should be delicious, creative, approachable and shared with others.
Surrounded by the bounty of Sonoma County, we take pride in using local artisanal breads and cheeses. We make all our pickles, sauces, and condiments from scratch—as well as our signature pastrami using certified Angus beef. Drip Sandwiches was founded in 2024 by chefs Drew and Rhonda Boczon with one mission: to create unique, flavor-packed, high-quality eats that are satisfying to enjoy. Surrounded by the local bounty of beautiful Sonoma County, we source a majority of our ingredients and products from within the county. We are committed to outstanding flavor, quality and freshness which is why we make all our pickles, sauces, and condiments from scratch. Our signature house-made pastrami – made from certified Angus beef – is a true labor of love and craftsmanship. Our cheeses are freshly shredded in house. This dedication reflects our food philosophy: food should be delicious, approachable and exciting —all while building community.
The idea for Drip Sandwiches was born in New York City, where we met as line cooks in fine dining kitchens back in 2009. Bodega sandwiches fueled our lives—a bacon, egg, and cheese on the subway ride to work, and after a long night of service, nothing hit the spot like a hot, griddled sandwich. The deli institutions we frequented left a lasting impression. When we decided we had endured enough East Coast winters and moved to Northern California, our creative spirit was further fueled by the abundance of local farmer’s markets and artisan producers.
